December Picnic in Los Angeles, an Opportunity to
Get Together
Israeli-Americans and Palestinian-Americans, with their families, enjoyed a December
picnic on the grounds of a private home in Los Angeles. In the balmy weather, children of Palestinian and Israeli heritage played together while their parents chatted. Among the day’s entertainments was a display of a Caribbean dance-like martial art by an Israeli-American. For many who had attended the Association’s August picnic, this was a chance to eat and talk together again.
