Yes,
many Israeli citizens are Arabs – they live side-by-side with
Israeli Jews.
Israeli
volunteers give these workshops for children in schools and summer
camps -- and also for teachers, women’s clubs, community centers,
insurance offices, and even a fire station. Over 800 workshops in the
last two years!
What
do they do in workshops? They read The Way to Happiness booklet
and do skits. They act out precepts.
Who pays for the booklets and the lesson plans (teacher’s guides)
that workshop leaders give the schools? You! Supporters of the
Association for Peace & Understanding in the Middle East. We send
your donations to our Israeli sister chapter of The Way to Happiness
Foundation.

Hello!
The Israeli
schools have started their new year. We have a huge demand
from teachers all over Israel for our materials. Dozens of
school managers are calling us and want to teach their
pupils The Way to Happiness lessons this year.
We find it hard to meet the demand. We have orders for more
than 500 lesson plans (Teacher’s Guides) with more to come
in the next days and weeks, and, of course, thousands of
booklets for their pupils.
Our only problem, of course, is the M word – Money.
So,
all schools can start teaching The Way to Happiness
booklet from the start of this year, we need $4,000 right
now for the purpose of printing and distributing lesson
plans.
Just as an example of our production, about 4 weeks ago, we
gave 27 introductory lectures in a single week to more than
500 teachers. [Editor’s note: This was a Highest Ever week
in the Highest Ever month for workshops – August 2004].
