Hi
Danny,
Amir
called me yesterday and
asked me to join the team
that distributes booklets
in shelters in the
bombarded Haifa. I started
getting ready and my
daughter heard about the
mission and also got
hooked on the idea and
decided that she was
coming, too.
On
22:00 we met with Maria,
Yafa, Haym and Karmit im
Givat Olga on road No. 2.
We moved The Way to
Happiness booklets
from Yafa's car into mine
...
and
then we headed for Haifa
to meet the charming Don
Shaul, at his house.
At
23:30 we picked up Don, a
whiz kid and a warrior of
human and youth rights,
who then commanded our
mission and we proceeded
to the public shelters in
Haifa.
We
were divided into teams
with walkie-talkies that I
had brought from home. On
our way to the shelters we
stopped in several
multi-story buildings and
we distributed copies of The
Way to Happiness
booklets at every door.
And
at
every opportunity we also
put booklets on cars and
gave copies directly to
the people we contacted
outside.
In
one public shelter we hung
The
Way to Happiness
posters
and left booklets on all
the chairs there.
After
about 3 hours we came back
to Don's house. Maria,
Haym and Karmit stayed the
night at Don's so they
could continue the mission
in the morning.
Lantan,
Yafa and I went back to
the center of Israel.
In
short, it was really fun
-- and to our surprise,
when we distributed
booklets, not one missile
fell on Hiafa! We went
back home tired but
contented.
