Peace News

When war erupted in July, Israelis in northern Israeli huddled in bomb shelters. Dedicated volunteers with our Israeli sister organi-zation, the Association for Prosperity & Security in the Middle East, braved the dangers to keep hopes for peace alive.

The volunteers brought The Way to Happiness® workshops into the shelters. They asked the  children in the shelters to write letters and draw pictures for Lebanese children.

Here are some of the letters.

Letter from Haran (age 10)

I live in the Kibbutz Iftach and we are now sitting in shelters. I am sure that it is not easy for you, and like me, you want this mess to end already.

“I would be happy to get in touch with you since all of us have similar reasons to be happy and sad. I hope that in the end we will meet. I believe in love for all.”   --- Haran
